Privacy Policy

Social is an internal tool operated by Magic Park Labs (“we”). This policy covers the information it handles from Threads.

What we collect. Using the official Threads API and our own account’s authorization, Social searches for public Threads posts containing keywords related to our apps. For each post it finds, it stores what the API returns for a public post: the text, the author’s username, the link, when it was posted and whether it has replies. For our own account it keeps the access token Meta issues and the account’s username. It does not collect private posts, direct messages, follower lists, email addresses or location.

How we use it. Only to show our team public conversations about topics our apps cover, to judge whether a reply would be useful, and to draft reply suggestions. A person reads every suggestion and, if they reply at all, posts the reply themselves on Threads. Social never posts, likes, follows or sends messages automatically. We do not use this information for advertising, do not build profiles of people, and do not sell or share it.

Service providers. Social runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data for us. The text of public posts may be processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to judge relevance and draft replies; under its commercial terms it does not train its models on that data.

How long we keep it. Posts, and everything derived from them, are deleted automatically 180 days after they are collected.

Deleting your data. If you authorized Social on Threads, you can request deletion under Settings → Account → Website permissions; Social then deletes everything it obtained through your account and gives you a link to confirm it. If Social collected a post of yours and you want it removed, email contact@magicparklabs.com with the link and we will delete it within 30 days.
